Ms Shabiluh ASaba
Ms. Shabiluh Asaba is the Manager of Grants and Partnerships at Kampala International University, Western Campus, where she coordinates grant applications, funding documentation, and partnership development. She supports the identification of funding opportunities and the establishment of strategic collaborations with donors, research organisations, and partner institutions.
Ms. Asaba is also an Assistant Lecturer at Kampala International University with a background in Telecommunications Engineering. She holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from Kampala International University. Her academic and professional experience combines research, teaching, engineering, and institutional grant management.
Her research interests include optical communication systems, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and signal processing. She has contributed to peer-reviewed research on optical fibre communication networks and has practical experience in networking, embedded systems, and telecommunications infrastructure.
Through her role in Grants and Partnerships, Ms. Asaba contributes to strengthening KIU's research and innovation ecosystem by supporting competitive grant development, effective partnership coordination, and collaborations that create opportunities for research, innovation, and sustainable institutional development.
